The task:

Our client, an international corporation form the payment industry, was looking for strategic market development indicators and decided to involve their clients’ representatives (Polish banking sector institutions) in the exploration process. The design, conducting and report preparation were entrusted to 4CF. The entire process was to utilize a dual – participatory and analytical – approach.

Our solution:

For the needs of our client, we designed a workshop for a hundred participants who represented the Polish banking sector. The workshop became a key part of an event  which summarised the client’s achievements and plans within the relevant sector of the finance industry. The workshop was conducted within the framework of the proprietary 4CF Matrix methodology. It was facilitated and observed by experienced 4CF managers and consultants, supported by innovative IT tools. Thus, in under 4 hours it produced the knowledge necessary for an in-depth report but also an analytical matrix of future payment solutions. The results were presented to the partners on the very same day, as a conclusion to the event.

The effects from the client’s perspective:

  • Initial results of the workshop were produced almost instantly and presented to strategic partners on the day of the workshop. This constituted a basis for launching joint development and marketing activities.
  • The invited participants thought that the workshop was productive and interesting. They almost unanimously declared that they would be willing to take part in more events organised in a similar formula.
  • The client received a complete, in-depth and analytically detailed report on the possibilities of payment development on the Polish market. It covered more than twenty payment solutions in a ten-year perspective.
